Sensei Ken Schug (in black gi), 5th degree, has been in the martial arts for over 30 years.  The majority of that time was spent under the guidance of Kyoshi Jerry Gould.  Ray McCabe received his black belt in Isshinryu in 1982.  George McCabe, along with brother Ray, and Darrin Montgomery received their Shodan in Shobayashi Shorin-ryu on May 18, 1997.  Another student soon to be a Black Belt is Michael Desmarais who has been practicing more than 24 hours a day to be ready for his test.  They are all volunteer instructors and enjoy the path to learning true karate-do.
